Strandvik Cruises in Win Over Rumble Ponies
The Yonkers Dark Knights earned a win at Gunslingers Ballpark, stopping the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 8-2. Starting pitcher Thomas Strandvik played a big role in his team's success. Yonkers is now 41-48, Binghamton 39-50.

The Rumble Ponies had few good swings against Strandvik, the left-hander, who threw 80 pitches over 7 innings. He allowed just no runs on 4 hits.

"To get where we want to as a team, we all have to do things out of our comfort zone," Strandvik told the Yonkers Daily News.
