4-0 Loss to Metros Extends Portland Losing Streak
|
Quebec rode a good effort from starter Warren Mohammed to beat the Portland Sea Dogs at Metros Ballpark. The final score was 4-0. Delwyn Johnson was credited with the save for Quebec, his 9th of the season. The Metros move to 60-32 with the win, while the Sea Dogs drop to 33-59.
The Metros got a big at-bat from second baseman Brody Green. For the game, Green was 1 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 27th double of the season gave Quebec a 1-0 lead.
"Nice to keep stacking the wins," said Green.
