Fisher Cats Procure 8-6 Victory
|
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats topped the Bowie Baysox, 8-6, with catcher Wyatt Roe playing a big role. Roe went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Fisher Cats in the win. Colby McFarland Jr. earned save number 10 this season. The Fisher Cats now have a record of 44-41.
Roe had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Fisher Cats went on to win.
In comments to the New Hampshire Observer, Roe admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
