The New Hampshire Fisher Cats got a stellar effort from pitcher Cesar Canseco, helping New Hampshire score a win over the visiting Erie SeaWolves, 3-0. Canseco picked up the win for New Hampshire, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. New Hampshire currently is in third place in the Eastern League North Division at 50-35.

The Fisher Cats got an important contribution from second baseman Jace McGuire, who in the bottom of the second punched a 2-1 splitter into left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Fisher Cats ahead, 3-0.

In comments to the New Hampshire Observer, Canseco insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
