The Yonkers Dark Knights topped the Hartford Yard Goats, 4-3, in Eastern League action at Dunkin' Donuts Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Yonkers pitcher Jessie Mullins. By defeating Hartford, the last-place Dark Knights improved to 33-55.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Raymón Velazquez? The 24-year old third baseman Velazquez stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put Yonkers up, 4-3. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 2 doubles and 1 single.

"I felt good out of the gates," said Mullins.
