The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

Starting pitcher Adonis Valenzuela pitched well enough to help the Binghamton Rumble Ponies beat the Providence Crabs, 8-3. The losses continue to mount for Providence, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

Binghamton took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Elton Dacuno hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Rumble Ponies.

"Things will change for us," said Providence manager Adam Baron. "When things change, we'll get clicking."
