The fans at Hadlock Field witnessed quite a game.

Simon Benton knocked in 5 runs to help Portland beat Lancaster, 8-7. The San Juan Capistrano, California native tallied 1 single and 1 home run. Reliever Ben Dunn picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Aaron Paterson took the loss.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Benton hit a fastball from Caden Coleman for a run-scoring single. The Sea Dogs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Benton.

With the win, Portland lifts its record to 1-3.
