Barnstormers Beat Rumble Ponies, 4-1

Lancaster and Binghamton got after it at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Lancaster right-hander Mauricio Vega pitched his team to victory over the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at FirstEnergy Stadium. The final score was 4-1. Michael Ruffing closed it out for Lancaster, earning his 8th save.
William Miller had a big 2-run double for the Barnstormers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Lancaster leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Ervin Dion and swatted a double to center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Barnstormers ahead, 4-0.
"Mauricio -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Barnstormers manager Gustavo Resendiz. "He was the key to us winning."
The third-place Barnstormers now have a record of 48-29.
