Riding the 3-hit performance of the 24-year old second baseman Chávez Feliz, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies stopped the Halifax Frigates, 3-2. Binghamton reliever Charlie Wieser picked up the win, upping his record to 6-2. Anrique Garcia was saddled with the loss. Halifax's current losing streak has reached 4 games.

Feliz had a game-changing double in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch sinker from Anrique Garcia, he banged a run-scoring double to right, giving the Rumble Ponies a 3-2 lead. It was the 25th double of the year for Feliz.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Trajano De Leon.
