Altoona overcame a superior effort from Lee Ratliff to beat Lincoln, 4-2, in 10 innings. The Lincoln pitcher threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The save went to Marco Mantecon, number 14 for him. The Curve improved their record to 41-34 with the win over Lincoln.

Altoona used the timely hitting of Derek Holmes to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Curve on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame comments, Holmes said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
