The Lancaster Barnstormers faced a tough opponent in Yonkers pitcher Tristan Hamilton, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Gunslingers Ballpark by a final score of 5-2. Hamilton went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Lancaster reliever Len Salmon picked up the win, while Matt Garcia took the loss for Yonkers. Michael Ruffing earned the save for Lancaster, his 7th of the year.

Lancaster used a timely hit from Declan Lunderville to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Barnstormers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Winning is contagious," said Lunderville. "We're looking forward to the next game."

The 'W' lifts Lancaster's record to 46-29.
