Curve 9-3 Victors Over Bighorns

The Altoona Curve picked up a win at ONEOK Field, dropping the Lincoln Bighorns, 9-3. Miguel Perica was the difference-maker. The Curve improved their record to 42-30 by beating Lincoln.
Dórian Roque had a big grand slam home run for the Curve in the top of the seventh inning. With Altoona leading 5-2 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from 22-year old left-handed pitcher Anthony McAtee and swatted a home run to right. It was his 13th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Curve ahead, 9-2.
"Miguel has the heart of a gladiator," said Altoona manager Matt Hartford.
