The Providence Crabs welcomed the Lancaster Barnstormers to an night game at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Brycen Patrick, despite pitching well, was dismayed with the outcome: a hard-fought, 2-1 Lancaster Barnstormers defeat at the hands of the Providence Crabs at FirstEnergy Stadium. The setback makes Lancaster 41-28.

Mateo Velasco had a direct impact on the outcome. Velasco contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put Providence up, 2-0.

"Tough loss," said Lancaster manager Gustavo Resendiz. "This one will sting for a while."
