The Wichita Pilots rode a solid performance from 27-year-old starting pitcher Benjamin Wolff to a win, beating the Altoona Curve, 5-2, at People's Natural Gas Field. With the win, the Pilots sit at 43-29.

Wichita used a well-timed hit by Andrew Stamets to capture the win. The center fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Pilots ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Wolff attributed the win to his team's "dogged determination."
