Somerset and Altoona took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Somerset Patriots beat the Altoona Curve, 7-2, at People's Natural Gas Field. Somerset catcher Mark Overton led the way. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Patriots improved to a lofty 47-20.

Early in the game, Overton had a 2-run home run for Somerset. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Patriots on top, 2-0.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Overton.
