The Wichita Pilots soundly defeated the Lancaster Barnstormers, 11-2, at Regions Field. Noah Marchand, who is tied for 10th in the EL in extra base hits with 26, let his bat do the talking. He went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times for Wichita. Llewellyn Wilhelm got the win, improving to 4-4. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 2 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Wichita now sits at 38-30, while Lancaster falls to 44-24.

In the bottom of the third inning, third baseman Jack Brenner had a 3-run home run for Wichita. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Pilots on top, 3-0.
