|
Altoona designated hitter Van Wease had a good game, even if his team did not. The Curve dropped a 4-3 decision to Erie at Jerry Uht Park. Wease was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The 4th-place SeaWolves have won 6 in a row.
Erie got a knockout punch from Wendell Willis. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
