Dark Knights Topple Metros, 8-4, as Tormoehlen Shines
A 4-RBI performance from the 27-year old second baseman J.R. Tormoehlen helped the Yonkers Dark Knights beat the Quebec Metros, 8-4. Tucker Manford picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Heath Armour, who is tied for 5th in the EL with a 9.2 K/9 rate, was tagged with the loss. The Metros, now 21-40, have lost 4 straight.

With Yonkers leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Tormoehlen hit a fastball from Heath Armour for a 3-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Dark Knights ahead, 5-0.

"I had a good game," said Tormoehlen. "Winning makes it even better."
