De Los Santos Slams 5 Hits for Lancaster
The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Sergio De Los Santos.

The third baseman for the Lancaster Barnstormers hit the milestone against the Akron RubberDucks, helping his club to a narrow 8-7 victory. De Los Santos finished with a 5-for-5 line at the plate.

"De Los Santos was a tough out," Akron manager Damon Cordero told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one."

Sergio De Los Santos singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Lorne Gallo in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

De Los Santos is hitting at a .268 mark this season. His stats show 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has played 50 games for the Barnstormers.
