The Lincoln Bighorns faced a tough opponent in Yonkers pitcher Danny Ross, but found a way to pull out the victory at Gunslingers Ballpark by a final score of 6-4 in 11 innings. Ross went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Alvin Farrenkopf earned the save for Lincoln, his 1st of the year. Lincoln raised its record to 31-29 with the win.

Lincoln used the timely hitting of T.J. Robbins to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Bighorns on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If you're not prepared, it's not pressure you feel, it's fear," mused Lincoln manager Jackson Ladue.
