Caden Motsenbocker pitched well, but the Quebec Metros still lost the game, falling, 4-1, to the Providence Crabs at Holyoke Grounds. Providence pitcher Will Sheffield earned the win, hiking his record to 2-1. Caden Motsenbocker suffered the loss. Providence is now 25-33. Quebec is 31-27.

Warren Yamamoto had a big 2-run home run for the Crabs in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Providence leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a curveball from Caden Motsenbocker, the 11th overall pick in the 2064 draft, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Crabs on top, 4-0.

In postgame remarks, Yamamoto applauded his team's "toughness."
