Dark Knights Win with Late Heroics
The Yonkers Dark Knights battled the Erie SeaWolves into extra innings before the outcome was decided. The Dark Knights won it, finally, 6-5, in 12 innings. In the game, Yonkers designated hitter Justin Johnson was 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The victory gives the Dark Knights a record of 32-28.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the 12th. With Yonkers trailing 5-4, Johnson jumped on a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Drake Brezin and hit a 2-run home run to center. With one swing, the Dark Knights had a walk-off win.
