The Halifax Frigates knocked off the Erie SeaWolves, 5-3, in Eastern League action at MGM Park. Halifax pitcher and Garland, Texas, native Trent Liebowitz had an outstanding performance. Liebowitz, the winner, moves to 2-1. He threw 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 3 walks. The setback makes Erie 22-37.

The Frigates got a big at-bat from second baseman Terry Huffman. For the game, Huffman was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Halifax a 4-0 lead.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Huffman said.
