Llewellyn Wilhelm put on a pitching clinic, while helping the Wichita Pilots beat the Somerset Patriots, 1-0. A.J. Vargas notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 4-1. Jeff DeVore recorded the save for Wichita, his 2nd of the season.

Wichita took a 1-0 lead on Noah Marchand's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Marchand hit in the top of the eighth, left Somerset pitcher Felix Ayala visibly frustrated.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Marchand told the Wichita Daily. "Whatever it takes."

Wichita, at 30-25, holds down 5th place in the Eastern League Southwest Division.
