Yonkers Falters Again, Loses, 6-3, to Erie
The Erie SeaWolves defeated the Yonkers Dark Knights, 6-3, at Jerry Uht Park. Erie second baseman Cody Gross had a superb performance. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Jammer Dougherty nailed down his 15th save. The losses continue to mount for Yonkers, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

With Erie leading 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Gross hit a curveball from Danny Ross for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the SeaWolves ahead, 4-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Gross told the Erie News.
