The Binghamton Rumble Ponies firmly defeated the Bowie Baysox, 18-2, at NYSEG Stadium. The Binghamton offense was lit. Steve French, for one, had a solid game. Early in the game, right fielder Torquato Velasquez had a 3-run home run for Binghamton. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Rumble Ponies on top, 3-0.
