Lancaster starter Sancho Watson put the Yonkers offense in a vise grip. The left-hander relied heavily on his curveball in leading the Barnstormers to a 6-1 win. Lancaster is now 22-28.

In the bottom of the fourth, Lancaster center fielder Sam Achorn had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Achorn stroked a run-scoring single to right-center. It made the score 3-1, Lancaster. For the game, he was 1 for 4.

"Sancho throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Lancaster manager Gustavo Resendiz.
