Peterson Propels Binghamton to 2-0 Win
|
Binghamton starter Curt Peterson pitched well against the Lincoln Bighorns at ONEOK Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-0. Aden Boyle closed it out for his 14th save. With the win over Lincoln, the Rumble Ponies improved to 30-15.
Peterson was dominant for Binghamton. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits, while racking up 9 strikeouts. He threw 88 pitches over 6.1 innings in the contest.
"Curt set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Binghamton manager Zane Tharp.
