Akron center fielder Norbert Tapia was instrumental in helping the RubberDucks triumph, 4-2, over the Bowie Baysox. Tapia went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs. Jayden Eaves earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record is now 3-1. The save went to Brock Partin, number 1 for him.

Tapia contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Akron get the win.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Tapia told the Akron Herald.
