The Somerset Patriots defeated the Halifax Frigates, 4-2, in Eastern League action at MGM Park. Somerset pitcher Jonathan Bradley had a standout performance. In 7.1 innings, Bradley surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. The win for the Patriots raised their record to 26-21.

Had Andrew Baldwin not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Baldwin hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Patriots.
