SeaWolves Get Clutch 3-2 Win
|
Gateway got a terrific performance from pitcher Brandon Kaminsky, but it wasn't enough to beat the Erie SeaWolves. Erie won the Jerry Uht Park contest, 3-2. Kaminsky threw 7.0 innings of 1-hit ball for the losing team. The win makes Erie 14-24.
The SeaWolves got a clutch hit from designated hitter Mark Stansberry. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the SeaWolves.
"Obviously, we're happy we came out on the winning side, but what a great game to watch, just as a fan of baseball," said SeaWolves manager Jose Villalobos.
