Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies got the win.

Binghamton turned a good performance from starting pitcher Chad Beckner into a 4-2 triumph over the Wichita Pilots at Regions Field. Aden Boyle finished the game for Binghamton and earned his 10th save.

Binghamton used the hitting of Eric Roberts to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Rumble Ponies on top, 2-0. For the game, Roberts had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

Said losing manager Ryan Coleman: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."

The Rumble Ponies saw their record improve to 20-10.
