Escalante Lifts Pilots to 12-7 Triumph
Elder Escalante added some punch to the Wichita offense, helping them outmuscle the Yonkers Dark Knights, 12-7. In the game, Escalante, who is tied for 5th in the EL in RBI with 22, was 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 4 times and drove in 4. The 6th-place Pilots improved to 14-16.

Escalante made an early impact for Wichita when he stroked his 11th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which came in the top of the second, put the Pilots on top, 6-0.
