New Hampshire Loses, 8-5, to Binghamton in 11
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies topped the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 8-5, in 11 innings at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Binghamton first baseman Sam Penley. Rudy Royal earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-3. Binghamton currently is in 5th place in the Eastern League North Division at 15-15.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Penley delivered big-time for Binghamton, stroking a dramatic run-scoring double off A.J. Mann. The game-changing hit put the Rumble Ponies on top, 6-5.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Penley.
