Lincoln right-hander Caden Nance helped his team edge Halifax by the score of 3-2. Nance kept the opposing lineup in check. Jerry Holland closed the game out for Lincoln, earning his 1st save. With the win, Lincoln has a record of 24-8. Halifax falls to 9-23.
Lincoln third baseman Jorge De La Paz provided the clutch hit. In the top of the 12th, he belted a 2-run home run to put his team in front and help them pick up the win.
"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Halifax manager Leo Olvera.
