The New Hampshire Fisher Cats faced a tough opponent in Lincoln pitcher Alfredo Gomez, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium by a final score of 1-0 in 12 innings. Gomez went 8.1 innings and allowed no runs. Alex Jackson, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The victory gives the Fisher Cats a record of 15-14.

The decisive blow was delivered by Tad Lowe in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a run-scoring double off 23-year old left-handed pitcher Atworth Garrett to win the game for New Hampshire. The home crowd went nuts.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Lincoln manager Jackson Ladue.
