6-2 Loss to Pirates Extends Texas Losing Streak
Riding the 2-hit performance of the two-time All-Star Gunner McCarthy, the Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Texas Rangers, 6-2. The winning continues for Pittsburgh, with the latest triumph making it 10 straight.

The fans who came to support the Pirates were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Best Buy Ballpark.

"It's fun to come to the yard every day when you're winning," said Pittsburgh manager Aaron Calderon.
