Sadowski Lifts Ignition to 7-1 Triumph
|
E.J. Sadowski was a major factor in the 7-1 Indianapolis win over Minnesota. The Ignition center fielder was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Warren Felton got the save, his 9th in 10 chances. With the win, Indianapolis upped its record to 78-56.
The Ignition got a big at-bat from first baseman Brandon Wright. For the game, Wright went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Indianapolis a 2-0 lead.
"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Wright said (again).
