Though he had a stellar game, Tomas Holguin could not prevent his team, the Portland Hops, from losing, 6-5, to the Philadelphia Phillies. Holguin went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Philadelphia win streak is now 4 games.

Philadelphia used a well-timed hit by Lindsey Mansur to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Phillies ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Philadelphia manager Corey Barrentine.
