Philadelphia right fielder Caden McKinley had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 10-5, to California at Disney Stadium. McKinley went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Aldo Gimenez earned the win. Cody Woten, who is tied for 5th in the AL in quality starts with 17, took the loss for Philadelphia. Picking up the save was Ponce Fernandez, his 25th.

Cole Vitola hit a 2-run home run off Cody Woten in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Angels ahead, 6-4. In addition to the homer, Vitola had 1 double, while going 2 for 5.

"We've got great fans," said Vitola. "I hope they got what they came for."

The last-place Phillies now sit at 49-82.
