Greeley Lifts Reds to 9-2 Win
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 2058 Batter of the Year winner Conrado Greeley, the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Texas Rangers, 9-2. The win puts the Reds at 61-68, while the Rangers drop to 46-83.

Sid Suson had a big 3-run home run for the Reds in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Cincinnati leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Tim Briere, who is tied for 4th in the NL in complete games with 1, and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 14th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Reds ahead, 4-0.

"We didn't put our best foot forward tonight," said losing manager Kevin Hall.
