Minnesota Hands Baltimore 6-2 Defeat
|
The Minnesota Twins picked up a win at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, knocking off the Baltimore Orioles, 6-2. Starting pitcher Jordan Manzanares played a key role in the triumph. The Eastern Region Great Lakes Division-leading Twins are 78-50.
The Twins benefited from a costly error in the top of the fifth. With Archer Charles at bat and Minnesota leading 2-1, the Baltimore miscue allowed Minnesota to plate 2 and take the lead, 4-1.
Charles said his team "played with determination."
