Blue Jays Pull Out Late-Game Win, 5-4
The Toronto Blue Jays topped the San Francisco Giants, 5-4, in National League action at Rogers Centre. The game was highlighted by the performance of Toronto pitcher Zach Lowe. Brom Kucera snagged the win in relief. He goes to 7-3 on the season. Chance Ladesma suffered the loss. Toronto is now 73-54, while San Francisco is 72-55.

The decisive blow was delivered by Mackenzie Pierce in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Chance Ladesma to win the game for Toronto. The home crowd went nuts.

"Zach can bring it," said Toronto manager Jaden Bishop.
