The Fresno Falcons picked up a win at Savemart Center, dropping the Houston Astros, 6-4. Norman Ewing was the difference-maker. Fresno is now 57-70. Houston is 52-75.

Fresno took a 6-4 lead on George Copa's 16th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Copa hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Houston pitcher J.R. Wiggins visibly frustrated.

"Norman has got a slow heartbeat," said Fresno manager Pedro Alvarado. "He doesn't panic or anything."
