Chicago Rallies for 5-3 Win

Shaun Ferguson left his imprint on the 5-3 Chicago win against the Portland Hops. Ferguson, who finished 2nd in the AL in home runs with 48 in 2054, went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Gunner Dalman claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record stands at 5-5. Nakamaro Tahara converted his 6th save in 11 tries.
Ferguson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch sinker from Jayson Griffin, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the White Sox a 4-3 lead. It was the 21st home run of the year for Ferguson.
"Just trying to help my team," said Ferguson. "That's all I want."
The loss makes Portland 48-79.
