Astros Use Late Surge to Win
New York right fielder Benjamin Berret was sensational. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Houston beat the Yankees, 5-4. Houston is now 52-73, New York 80-45.

The decisive blow was delivered by Dennis Freeman in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Farouk Morales to win the game for Houston. The home crowd went nuts.

"Now that's my kind of ending," said a smiling Freeman.
