Knights Edge Past Blue Jays, 5-4
|
The Las Vegas Knights knocked off the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-4, in 10 innings at Big Slick's House of Hardball. Scotty Field hit 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. Las Vegas reliever Ralph Fragoso picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Jack Tritt took the loss. The Knights, at 65-60, sit in 4th place in the National League Sparrow Division.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, an error by the Blue Jays allowed the Knights to score the winning run.
"It was terrific getting this win," Field said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
