Willis Plays Big Role in San Diego Win
The San Diego Padres received a sterling performance from starting pitcher Aaron Willis, allowing them to shoot down the California Angels, 1-0. Earning his 38th save for San Diego was Farouk Morales. San Diego is second in the American League Sandoval Division with a record of 71-53.

Willis, a native of Chicago, Illinois, was dealing all game. He kept California hitters off-balance, while giving the Padres 8 quality innings. Willis threw 92 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 6.
