Rangers Get One-Run Win at Milwaukee
|
Fans watched the Texas Rangers and the Milwaukee Brewers fight to the finish.
In a close game at American Family Field, the Texas Rangers edged the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-4. Texas third baseman Santiago Ochoa stood apart with his performance. He was 2-5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The first-place Brewers now sit at 66-56.
Ochoa had a timely hit for Texas in the top of the seventh. With Texas trailing 4-2, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season, making it 5-4, Texas.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Ochoa.
