Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Paul Cooper pitched a good game against the Fresno Falcons at Chase Field, leading his team to victory, 2-1. Dilan Lee wrapped it up, recording his 7th save. Arizona is 68-54 and Fresno, with the loss, 47-75.

Prescott Brittain had a big run-scoring double for the Diamondbacks in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Arizona leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a sinker from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Romeo Kimble and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 18th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Diamondbacks ahead, 2-0.

"Paul pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Arizona manager Donovan Zimmerman.
