Siena Shines in 15-5 Atlanta Win
Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Braves beat the Pirates.

Atlanta right fielder Pan Siena contributed significantly to his team's 15-5 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Siena, who is tied for 3rd in the EAST in RBI with 101, went 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Braves. The winning pitcher was Samuel Allen. He tossed 82 pitches over 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 1 hit.

With Atlanta leading 6-0 in the bottom of the third, Siena came up to bat against Pittsburgh pitcher Francisco Montilla. Siena hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 32nd home run of the season put the Braves on top, 10-0.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Siena told the Atlanta Herald.

The Braves are now 58-61, while the Pirates fall to 42-77.
